Anon Mey 45VII/7 — endað ‘ended’

Leysti hun af sier langa festi;
lamdi þann, er prettinn framdi;
fjandi þoldi af fögru sprundi
fleinging bæði hart og leingi.
Kveljarinn bauð, í köldu hjóli
kæra guðs að pínuð væri;
ljúfa fekk hun endað æfi;

She loosened from herself a long rope; she beat the one who performed the fraud; the devil endured whipping both hard and long by the fair woman. The tormentor ordered that God’s woman [HOLY WOMAN] be tortured on a cruel wheel; she ended her dear life; her soul then went into the hands of God.
